Reading the Board
- The gold trail is the path traced across the tiles, in the order they were touched.
- A word turns the tiles under it pale gold; an invalid one turns them red.
- ★ is the wild tile — it stands in for exactly one letter of the player's choosing.
- The dark tiles are Word-Stoppers. No path can cross one.
- The clock counts up from the start of the round, not down.
